Step 1: Download the Installation files
- Visit http://www.cmsfx.com andlogin to the system.
- Click on the link labeled "Wireless". Almost at the bottom of that page you will see the appropriate files you will need to download on to your desktop.
- Those files will carry names similar to the following:
CMSFXBBTradingSystem.alx
CMSFXBBTradingSystem.cod
* Note: The names of these files may not match exactly to the names of the files you will be
downloading but the extensions will be the same.
Step 2: Using the Desktop Manager
- Attach the USB cable to your desktop computer and the firewire connection to your BlackBerry device.
- Start the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
- Highlight the icon labeled "Application Loader" and press the "Add" button which allows you to browse for the installation files you downloaded in Step 1.Look for the file with the extension .alx.
- For example, in the above Step 1 sample, the file you would be searching for would be CMSFXBBTradingSystem.alx.
- Now scroll down and find the TradingSystem check box. Check mark that checkbox as well as all other CMSFXBBTradingSystem associated checkboxes.
Step 3: Installation
- Now press "Next" and TradingSystem Wireless will be installed on your BlackBerry. This may take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes. Do NOT turn your BlackBerry Off during the installation/upgrade of your software.
